HONOR Philippines has been on a roll lately with its abundance of product releases. In 2023 alone, we’ve had three new phones and two new laptops. On June 8, 2023, we are getting HONOR’s latest flagship phone, the HONOR Magic5 Pro, in the Philippines!
What to Expect from the Magic5 Pro
As the brand’s latest flagship phone, expect breakthroughs in design, display, photography, and performance. It is currently third in the DXOMARK top smartphone camera rankings (as of this writing). I am really looking forward to everything it can do in the camera department. (Got to check it out for myself! Stay tuned for that.)
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is powering this latest flagship along with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It runs MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13 and will feature a 5100 mAh battery with 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Awards Galore!
After its global release at Mobile World Congress 2023, the Magic5 Pro was able to snatch the #1 position in the DXOMARK Smartphone display ranking. (This phone still has this rank as of this writing.) It also got a lot of recognition at MWC 2023, receiving awards from various tech authorities.
HONOR wanted to make a mark of the superb specs of its latest flagship. Partnering with Guinness World Records, the brand was able to snap a successful attempt at doing the highest between-the-legs slam dunk. Poland’s Piotr Grabowski achieved the feat at a facility in London in January 2023, and HONOR was there with the upcoming HONOR Magic5 Pro flagship to capture it.
