After much anticipation, realme will launch its latest Number Series phones in the Philippines on April 23, 2026! With a focus on tactile materials, refined aesthetics, and upgraded portrait capabilities, the realme 16 Series 5G is shaping up to be another iconic lineup of phones in the Series yet.

realme’s Number Series tends to stand out in terms of design, and the realme 16 Series 5G is no different. Both the 16 Pro+ 5G and 16 Pro 5G feature the Urban Wild Design that’s created in collaboration with renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. (A standout design for me is the Suitcase Design of the realme GT Master Edition.)
Leading the lineup is the 16 Pro+ 5G in Master Gold which evokes a sunlit wheat field. Following that up is the 16 Pro 5G in its Pebble Grey colorway reminiscent of smooth river pebbles. The 16 Pro 5G also comes in an Orchid Purple colorway. The realme 16 Pro+ 5G features a bio-based silicone back panel derived from plant-based straw, offering a soft, polished texture that is both durable and resistant to dirt and wear.
Meanwhile, the realme 16 5G goes for a more minimalist “Air” aesthetic in either White or Black. Instead of the square camera module of the Pro models, we get a horizontal camera strip with a selfie mirror on the right side.
This attention to detail with the design extends with the camera prowess of these new Number Series phones.
The 200MP Portrait Master Takes Center Stage!
Besides unique design, realme’s Number Series mainly focuses on the camera capabilities. The realme 16 Pro Series 5G can elevate your smartphone photography thanks to the 200MP Multi-focal Camera System. In case you’re wondering, both the 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ get that 200MP main rear camera with OIS. You also get an 8MP ultrawide camera on the rear and a 50MP front camera on both phones.
Where the 16 Pro+ 5G stands out is having a 50MP 3.5x telephoto camera. That phone also features the debut of realme’s industry-first TÜV Rheinland-certified LumaColor Image Camera. LumaColor enhances color, balances lighting between subject and background, and renders natural skin tones for vibrant, lifelike photos.
The realme 16 5G is no slouch in the camera department! It rocks a 50MP Sony IMX852 main rear camera and a 50MP front camera.
