After teasing the arrival of the realme 12 Series 5G in the Philippines, realme Philippines confirms that the launch will be on March 7! The new series comprises of two phones: the realme 12 Pro+ 5G and the realme 12+ 5G. With the direction of providing flagship-level smartphone cameras, realme managed to bring innovative camera tech while still able to provide capable midrange phones. Here’s what to expect from the two new Number Series phones.
Flagship-Level Cameras
The newest members of the Number Series get a periscope camera and Sony sensors to provide flagship-level camera quality. Each device gets distinct main camera systems:
- realme 12 Pro+ 5G gets a 64MP Periscope Portrait Camera, a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera and an 8MP 112° Wide Angle camera
- realme 12+ 5G gets a 50MP Sony LYT600 OIS Portrait Camera, an 8MP 112° Wide Angle, and a 2MP Macro camera
Feel the Luxury
Another standout of these new phones are their beautiful craftsmanship. Inspired by luxury watch design, the brand co-developed these designs with well-renowned watch designer Ollivier Savéo.
Both new phones are embellished with Premium Vegan Leather, Polished Sunburst Dial, and 3D Jubilee Bracelet. However, the realme 12 Pro+ 5G also has a Golden Fluted Bezel circling its camera while the realme 12+ 5G has Polished PVD Edges.
The phones come in sophisticated colorways to help exude that luxurious feel. You get Submarine Blue and Navigator Beige with the realme 12 Pro+ 5G. As for the realme 12+ 5G, you get Pioneer Green and Navigator Beige.
