After launching the realme 9 Pro Series in March, realme launched yet another member of the realme 9 Series. realme Philippines launched the new realme 9i during its virtual launch last May 4, 2022. With that in mind, let’s get to know the latest member of the Number Series to arrive in the country.

While the 9 Pro Series focused on the cameras, realme really focused on power efficiency with the 9i. Dubbed as the battery powerhouse of the realme 9 Series, the realme 9i carries the Snapdragon 680 processor. This 6nm chip consumes 62% less power and affords 46% more performance than the 12nm processor. That efficiency combined with a big 5000 mAh battery helps the 9i last for a really long time. You don’t even have to wait too long to get a full charge! Its 33W Dart Charge technology charges the 9i from 0 to 100% in 70 minutes.
This phone comes with a 90Hz IPS LCD display which realme calls its Ultra Smooth Display. It can automatically adjust to five refresh rates depending on the content that’s displayed on the screen! This will help extend the battery life further for longer use.
Capture More
Not only will you enjoy its battery life and smooth display, but you’ll also get to capture more with the 9i! This is thanks to its 50MP AI Triple Camera system. It consists of a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera. Features like Portrait Mode and a new Cosmopolitan Nightscape filter allow for a surreal visual experience in your photos.
All of those features are housed in a phone that carries realme’s first Stereo Prism design. Inspired by light and the prisms it creates with its refractions, the realme 9i’s exterior presents a dynamic effect of three-dimensional light and shadow transformation.
Pricing and Availability
The realme 9i will be available starting May 5 in all realme official stores and partner dealers offline. It’ll also be available online EXCLUSIVELY on Shopee. The phone retails for P11,990 with a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It comes in Prism Blue and Prism Black.
