With AI becoming the next big thing in tech, Samsung wants to share its vision for what AI can do in its products. In the past, we would have to wait until February or March to see the next Galaxy. The start of 2024 looks busy as Samsung Electronics will host its Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event in San Jose, California.
Where to Watch
The event will be streamed live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel beginning at 10 a.m. PST, 1 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. GMT and 7 p.m. CET and 2 a.m. January 18 PH Time.
What to Expect
Whenever Samsung does an Unpacked event at the start of the year, it usually means launching new Galaxy S smartphones. Unless we get a curveball, we’re probably getting three phones in the Galaxy S24 series. Based on the initial teasers and marketing material, these phones will showcase features powered by AI. Dubbed “Galaxy AI”, these features aim to make the new Galaxy S phones the most intelligent mobile experience yet.
I’m not expecting other products to show up at Galaxy Unpacked 2024. It is possible that new earbuds and/or new tablets could join the new phones though. (This is only based on past events and is not confirmation that it’ll happen at all!)
