Alongside the realme X3 SuperZoom, realme also announced the newest member of its AIoT Ecosystem: the realme Watch! It’s really interesting that after doing the realme Band, they would go with a smartwatch. Let’s check this out and see what this smartwatch can do for you!
What Can The realme Watch Do?
Good question! If you thought it looked like an Apple Watch, then I don’t really blame you. It’s a good thing this smartwatch does a lot! Although it comes with a black strap, it’s removable and you can swap it with other colors! The main way to interact with this smartwatch is its 1.4″ full screen touch display.
You can do the usual smartwatch stuff like having customizable watch faces, and smart notifications. The main focus of the realme Watch is its health and fitness functionalities. It can track your daily activities and exercise by monitoring your heart rate, blood oxygen, and calories!
Those are made possible by the blood oxygen monitor, a 24/7 real-time heart rate monitor, and an Intelligent Activity Tracker! The last one is for tracking basic activities like walking and running. You also get 14 sports modes which include badminton, indoor cycling, elliptical, yoga, and cricket.
Besides that, you also get special remote controls for the music and camera apps! You can also unlock your realme device through the realme Watch. This is really useful especially during a time when face masks are prevalent.
Pricing and Availability
The realme Watch costs P3,990. It will be available in Lazada on July 15 during the e-tailer’s Midyear Bounce Back Sale! In fact, you can avail of a P1,000 discount on its initial sale that day! It’s amazing as to how much functionality you can get in a smartwatch for less than P5,000.
Do you think realme has what it takes to build out its AIoT ecosystem? Is the realme Watch very compelling for its price point? Sound off in the comments!
