realme just held its MWC 2023 event in Barcelona and launched its latest flagship phone: the realme GT3! After launching in China as the GT NEO 5, we get the latest member of realme’s GT series with 240W fast charging, the first with that kind of charging speeds.
Standout Features of the realme GT3
The main feature of the this phone is, of course, its 240W SUPERVOOC Charge capability! This lets you charge the GT3’s 4600 mAh battery from 0 to 50% in 4 minutes and 0 to 100% in 9 minutes 30 seconds! A lot of firsts were made to make sure that this cutting-edge charging tech including:
- 3 charging chipsets strategically placed in the phone to reduce temperature while charging
- A 12A USB-C cable with a 20% increased efficiency
Despite all that power, realme says that you can expect to reach 1600 charge cycles before the phone has 80% of its battery capacity.
Another standout feature of this phone is its Pulse Interface design. It has a transparent RGB lighting pulse on a small portion of the back of the phone. That includes the Dare To Leap slogan. This Pulse Interface lets you know critical information on the phone. Two examples are when it has low battery (shows a red light) or when the battery is between 21% and 100% (shows a purple light). You can also customize this RGB light by letting you choose between 25 colors for additional color-coded info at a glance. It even lets you map colors to certain actions like incoming calls, notifications, and timers for photos.
Other highlight features include the use of Stainless Steel Vapor Cooling System Max 2.0, HyperSmart Antenna Switching 2.0, and the use of a Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS.

Pricing and Availability
Pricing for the realme GT3 starts at $649 / P35,731 (converted) for the 8GB + 128GB model. There is no further details on the pricing of higher tier models where the highest-tier one has 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. We also don’t know when or where this phone will be available.
