As it celebrates its sixth anniversary, realme Philippines confirms the launch of the realme 13 Pro Series 5G! The launch will happen on August 28 during the brand’s yearly Fan Festival! The latest generation of Number Series consists of the realme 13 Pro+ 5G and realme 13 Pro 5G. Both phones feature the latest AI innovation that realme has to offer in its cameras.
Bringing Ultra Clear Camera with AI
With the 13 Pro Series, realme is bringing Ultra Clear Camera with AI. This camera merges advanced hardware and software to achieve unparalleled image clarity, detail, and color accuracy.
Thanks to these new phones, realme claims that you no longer need to worry about blurry photos. With AI Ultra Clarity, the phone uses AI to increase clarity or enhance the resolution of blurry images. The best thing about it is that you can use it on any photo you have. It doesn’t have to be a 13 Pro Series photo! This feature can improve or sharpen details in the image or even enhance those cropped and zoomed-in shots.
These phones also feature Pro-XDR where that helps improve dynamic range, lights, and shadows when viewing the image. realme does this by analyzing the contents of the image shot on the phone and adjusting the brightness.
Dual 50MP Cameras with OIS?!?
You heard that right! With the realme 13 Pro+ 5G, you get a dual 50MP Sony camera system! This lets you take great photos in different scenarios.
The 13 Pro+ is the first phone to use the Sony LYT-600 sensor for the Periscope camera! It supports 120x SuperZoom that we last saw in the realme 12 Pro+. Users can take shots with the periscope camera on Photo Mode, Street Mode, Night Mode, and “Moon Mode 2.0” (when set to 10x Zoom and above). This camera also supports 3x optical zoom, 6x In-sensor Zoom, and Portrait mode set to an 80mm focal length.
The 13 Pro+ also has a 50MP Sony LYT-701 OIS camera that supports 3x Nightscape mode. This allows for better photos in nighttime scenarios.
Meanwhile, the realme 13 Pro 5G has a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera that does good day and night photography. The main camera features a 26mm equivalent focal length, f/1.88 aperture, OIS, and 2x In-Sensor Zoom. Users can enjoy the following features in the AI Imaging Algorithm:

The phones also have Rainwater Smart Touch and an IP65 Dust and Water Resistance rating that ensures better protection against dust and low-pressure splashes of water from any direction.
Both 13 Pro Series phone keep the 120Hz Curved OLED display but now has the AI Eye Protection feature. This lets the phone identify frequencies when the user yawns or blinks to identify fatigue and adjusts color temperature and brightness for smart eye protection. Users can also toggle on Bedtime Mode, Color Temperature adjustment, and a Paper Texture function to personalize their overall smartphone experience.
