vivo just gave fans a first glimpse of its next design statement. The upcoming vivo V80 arrives in the Philippines with a new colorway called Starwish Purple. Specifically, it features a galaxy-inspired finish with light-shifting purple hues. As a result, vivo targets a generation that sees personal style as an extension of self-expression.
Starwish Purple: A Galaxy-Inspired Finish That Shifts With the Light
First and foremost, Starwish Purple uses vivo’s Laser Holographic Lithography technology. This technology creates the phone’s True 3D Stellar Design. Notably, the layered finish stays visible to the naked eye. It brings a galaxy-like effect to the back cover. Specifically, users see shimmering patterns and changing reflections as light hits the phone from different angles.
Consequently, the look shifts throughout the day. It changes under the sun, under indoor lighting, and in the glow of city lights.
Furthermore, Starwish Purple suits Gen Z users who express their personality through fashion, accessories, and social media. Additionally, its reflective finish adds a visual accent to everyday photos, making the phone part of the overall aesthetic.
One-Piece Cold-Carved Glass and a Floating Camera Module
The design extends beyond the color. Specifically, the V80 features an upgraded, one-piece cold-carved glass build. It combines a refined appearance with a silky-smooth feel. Moreover, vivo designs the phone to feel comfortable in the hand. The glass surface also resists dust buildup, helping the phone keep its clean look through everyday use.
Meanwhile, a floating camera module adds definition to the back. It complements the layered galaxy-inspired finish.
Together, the visual texture and smooth glass give the V80 a look that suits both daily routines and nights out. In other words, the phone works as a personal accessory as much as a daily essential.
