As mobile gaming becomes more mainstream, we get many e-sports tournaments for popular games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB). I’m glad Infinix noticed this trend and designed the GT Series of smartphones with pro-level gaming in mind. Infinix just launched the latest smartphone of the GT Series: the Infinix GT 20 Pro! This phone features the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate, a Pixelworks X5 Dedicated Gaming Display Chip, and a 120fps Stable Frame-rate Engine for a better gaming experience in a phone under 16K.
Dual-Chipset Architecture
The Infinix GT 20 Pro rocks a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate processor with a Dedicated Gaming Display chip from Pixelworks. This dual-chipset architecture allows for stable 120 fps support in MLBB. 24GB Extended RAM (12GB of LPDDR5X RAM + 12GB Virtual RAM) and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage support the dual-chipset architecture. This is probably one of the reasons why Infinix was confident in making the GT 20 Pro the official tournament phone of MPL Philippines.
If heat is a problem for you when gaming longer, the GT 20 Pro’s Ever Evolving Cooling System won’t disappoint you. This cooling system includes 360° SoC cooling, a 68% larger PCM graphite sheet that would help dissipate that heat faster.
Everything you can do on the GT 20 Pro will feel smooth and snappy. Whether playing an intense MLBB game or enjoying the nicer graphics on more demanding games, the phone can keep up.
A Display Worthy of Pro-Level Gaming
The GT 20 Pro brings a bezel-less 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. While it isn’t Infinix’s first phone with a 144Hz refresh rate, this phone can take better advantage of that display. Thanks to this phone’s 120Hz Stable Frame Rate Engine, you can be sure to see those smooth frames without a hitch.
This display has a 360Hz touch sampling rate and a 1500Hz instant touch sampling rate for better gaming responsiveness. You also don’t have to worry when playing outdoors thanks to its 1300-nits peak brightness. With DCI-P3 color coverage, the GT 20 Pro’s display colors are more vibrant and color-accurate.
Cyber Mecha Design with Mecha Loop LED Interface
The GT 20 Pro also embodies the gamer spirit with this Cyber Mecha Design. It rocks a Turbine Blade Pattern that shows off that metal look. Infinix also adds this Mecha Loop LED Interface that lets you show off 8 color combinations and 4 lighting effects. You can even have lighting effects show up while you’re gaming!
Pricing and Availability
Surprisingly, Infinix brings a serious performance upgrade with the GT 20 Pro. With a Dimensity 8200 Ultimate processor, a Pixelworks X5 Dedicated Gaming Display chip, and a 120Hz Stable Frame Rate Engine, this phone brings pro-level MLBB gaming performance to more people.
The Infinix GT 20 Pro is priced at P15,999 with 24GB Extended RAM (12GB RAM + 12GB Virtual RAM) and 256GB of storage. It comes in three colors: Mecha Blue, Mecha Orange, and Mecha Silver. It will be available on June 13, 2024, via Infinix’s online channels: TikTok Shop, Shopee, and Lazada.
