Yeah yeah, I’m just now talking about the DIZO devices I got! It’s just interesting that the first partner brand of the realme TechLife ecosystem has a lot of stuff to offer right out of the gate! With that in mind, I’m here to share my thoughts on the devices I got. A separate full review of the DIZO Watch 2 will be up soon. For now, I’m basically sharing my favorite aspects and features of these devices. Enjoy!
An Abundance of Wireless Earbuds!
Despite how similar-looking DIZO’s earbuds are with its partner’s designs, they surely are some of the most affordable ones out there. I got the DIZO GoPods Neo and the DIZO GoPods D. Both retail for P1,999 and P999 respectively. When I first saw these earbuds, I immediately gravitated towards the GoPods Neo because it’s blue! Hehe.
DIZO GoPods Neo
My personal favorite out of the DIZO devices I got is the DIZO GoPods Neo. What I like about these earbuds is the fact that it’s more convenient to set up thanks to the dedicated pairing button in the charging case. You can charge the case with USB-C so you don’t need to get the cable that it comes with. Speaking of that cable, here’s what’s inside the box:
Setup was fairly easy for me. You can either use the realme Link App or use Google Fast Pair to make that initial connection. If you need more manual control with what the GoPods Neo does, then you need that realme Link app to adjust.
In my time with these earbuds, I’m actually impressed with the sound quality coming out of them! The default tips are just okay with me, and the controls in the realme Link app are simple enough.
The DIZO GoPods Neo retails for P1,999. It’s currently available in DIZO’s official store in Lazada.
DIZO GoPods D
Unlike the Neo, the GoPods D feels like a more basic pair of wireless earbuds. I didn’t really expect much from these since they were the most affordable ones of the bunch. The pairing process is actually less convenient here. You need to press and hold the touch sensors of the earbuds to pair with an Android phone or iPhone. It charges through Micro USB which feels like a step back. You can customize the controls with the realme Link app.
I don’t have much to say about the GoPods D since the sound quality pretty much reminds me of the realme Buds Q. If you need a very affordable pair of wireless earbuds, then this is one you can consider.
DIZO Watch 2
The last of the DIZO devices I got was the DIZO Watch 2. I’m really getting a sense of another device in the realme TechLife ecosystem here. I’m not gonna go too deep into this device since I’ll be posting a separate review of this on the blog soon. For now, here are some first impressions.
Unlike the earbuds, the DIZO Watch 2 needs a separate DIZO app to set it up and access the features it has to offer. Besides that weird wrinkle, it pretty much has the staples of a good smartwatch. There’s Notifications support that you also have to set up using the DIZO app.
I actually love using the SpO2 monitoring feature here more than on the realme Band 2. Honestly, the size of the DIZO Watch 2 really helps detect my blood oxygen better. I also don’t really need to adjust the band too much to get my heart rate.
Speaking of that band, it actually feels really comfortable. I even think it’s as comfortable as the watch bands in more high-end smartwatches. The DIZO Watch 2 even reminds me of one such high-end smartwatch.
That was my haul of DIZO devices! I personally was really into the GoPods Neo because of the sound quality but the other devices were also good for the price. Check back for my full review of the DIZO Watch 2.
