Realme is about to embark on its biggest stage yet! This comes after its HUGE splashes in 2019 with the realme X2 Pro and the realme 5 series! With that in mind, here’s what to expect with the realme X50 Pro launch!
Since GSMA canceled MWC Barcelona 2020, tech companies have to either reschedule their events or do them online. Realme decided to go with the latter and do a global online launch from Madrid, Spain on Monday, February 24th at 10 AM CET (5 PM Philippine Standard Time).

First realme Smartphone with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865!
Last month, realme launched its FIRST 5G smartphone: the realme X50! That phone carries the Snapdragon 765G which is more for midrange smartphones. The realme X50 Pro will get Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line baby: the Snapdragon 865! With this, you are sure to get the best experience with the new 5G technology in a smartphone.
Yet Another Powerhouse from realme!
This trend of putting out key specifications before the phone is not gonna stop! I took this very screenshot from the realme X50 Pro launch website. If these are anything to go by, then realme has another hit on its hands! Here’s what to expect from the specs department:
- 90Hz Super AMOLED Fullscreen Display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor
- Up to dual-mode 5G (Standalone / Non-standalone)
- 65W SuperDart Charge (getting away from OPPO’s branding)
- Quad Rear Cameras (one will carry that 20X Zoom)
- Dual Front Cameras (only one will get that Ultra-wide sensor though)
- Comes in two colors: Rust Red or Moss Green
