Infinix NOTE 30 Now in the Philippines!

Jullian Robin Sibi 0

Infinix launched two new phones: the Infinix NOTE 30 and NOTE 30 5G! While the latter is compelling thanks to having a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 processor in a sub-P10,000 price point, the former is no slouch! For a phone that starts at P7,999, you’re getting a lot of power and performance for the money.

45W All-Round Fast Charge + Bypass Mode!

Infinix NOTE 30 - 45W All-Round Fast Charge

Having 5000 mAh battery in a phone is always a good thing. In an entry-level or midrange phone, you usually skimp on the charging speed. Infinix just broke barriers once again by having 45W All-Round Fast Charge to pair with the 5000 mAh battery in the NOTE 30. You can charge this phone from 0 to 75% in 30 minutes! It can keep that battery capacity for 1000 charging cycles, 25% more than the standard.

This phone also has Bypass Mode, which supplies power directly to the phone’s main board instead of going through the battery. It resulted with an average temperature drop of 2℃ – 7℃. Its Intelligent Power E-IQ technology learns the user’s habits and can control its charging and give you a full charge when you wake up. This phone supports USB PD 3.0 but it is unclear whether you can use its charger to charge other devices.

Higher Performance Without the Higher Price

Normally, there would be people up in arms when a phone uses the MediaTek Helio G99 processor. We usually find it in midrange phones that cost upwards of P10,000. Seeing this processor in the NOTE 30 means that we’re getting performance we normally see in midrange phones in a sub-P8,000 phone!

This phone also features a proprietary Infinix technology called Ultra Power Signal (UPS). It features a new antenna design and exclusive algorithms that significantly enhance signal performance in weak signal conditions. This technology features intelligent antenna switching, accelerating the network, and reduce lag during gaming and video streaming. Infinix claims that UPS boosts this phone’s signal strength by 20% and a 100% increase in Wi-Fi signal strength.

Besides its fast charging and performance, here are other highlights of the NOTE 30:
