vivo just launched a smartphone built for people whose day doesn’t end when the workday does. Specifically, vivo officially launches the vivo V80 Lite in the Philippines. It brings a 10000mAh BlueVolt Battery, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, and a high-brightness display. As a result, it suits consumers who need a phone that keeps up with demanding workdays and everything that follows. The V80 Lite starts at PHP 24,999 and opens for pre-order from October 4 to 16, 2026.
Furthermore, the vivo V80 Lite holds a Guinness World Record. Notably, vivo designs it specifically for young Filipino professionals whose days extend well beyond the office. From meetings, calls, and commutes to side hustles and fitness, the phone keeps pace. Consequently, the device is built around one idea: staying fully charged and fully free.
“Today’s professionals are not defined by a strict 9-to-5 schedule, and their smartphones need to keep up with that reality. The V80 Lite was created for those moments when work ends but the day doesn’t — whether that means pursuing a side hustle, meeting friends, working out, or simply staying connected. We want users to have the freedom to keep going without constantly thinking about their battery or their environment.”
— Liu Lu, Brand Marketing Director, vivo Philippines
A Guinness World Record-Holding 10000mAh Battery
First and foremost, the 10000mAh BlueVolt battery gives users more room to move. Specifically, it supports long workdays, commutes, and after-hours activities with ease. As a result, users spend less time planning around their next charge. Notably, this is vivo’s largest battery capacity globally. Furthermore, it’s designed for users who rely on their phones from morning to night.
IP68 and IP69 Protection for Users Always on the Move
Additionally, the V80 Lite’s IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance adds real protection. Specifically, it helps users who move between different environments throughout the day. Whether heading out for a commute or working outdoors, the phone keeps up. Furthermore, it handles exercise and after-work meetups just as well. Consequently, it’s built to handle dust and water exposure under rated testing conditions.
A High-Brightness Display Built for Busy Days
Furthermore, the V80 Lite’s 1.5K OLED high-brightness display keeps content clearly visible. Specifically, it helps users navigate busy commutes and check messages outdoors with ease. Additionally, it adapts well when users move between indoor and outdoor settings. Consequently, the display supports the flexibility a phone needs for an always-moving day.
