The company just announced the Galaxy S24 Series at its Galaxy Unpacked Event in San Jose, California. If it wasn’t clear as to what the highlight is in these phones, it’s Galaxy AI. Almost everything that’s new with these phones have something to do with AI. From on-device live translation to various camera features enabled by the new ProVisual Engine, the Galaxy S24 Series aims to change how Galaxy users discover the world around them.

Galaxy AI transforms everyday experiences with enhanced communication features on the Galaxy S24 series. Live Translate enables two-way, real-time voice and text translations within the native app, breaking language barriers seamlessly. Interpreter offers split-screen live translations for in-person conversations, even without cellular data or Wi-Fi. Chat Assist refines conversational tones, while Samsung Keyboard translates messages in real-time across 13 languages. Note Assist boosts organization in Samsung Notes with AI-generated summaries, template creation, and cover design. Probably the best feature I’ve seen is Circle to Search! It is a gesture-driven feature with Google, allowing users to search and discover content effortlessly by interacting with the screen.

The Galaxy S24 Series features the ProVisual Engine, an AI-powered suite enhancing image capture and creative freedom. The S24 Ultra’s Quad Tele System and 5x optical zoom lens enable optical-quality performance at various magnifications, reaching up to 100x digital zoom.
Upgraded Nightography ensures brilliant photos and videos in any condition, with enhanced low-light performance. Galaxy AI editing tools offer innovative features like Edit Suggestion and Generative Edit for creative control. Samsung introduces eco-friendly measures, incorporating recycled materials in internal and external components, including rare earth elements and recycled cobalt in the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s battery. The devices feature recycled steel and Thermoplastic Polyurethane, with packaging made from 100% recycled paper. Samsung commits to seven generations of OS upgrades and security updates, prolonging the product lifecycle, and aims for recycled materials in every module by 2030.
