After releasing the Nokia 3.4 this year, HMD Global launched two more Nokia smartphones in the Philippines! Those phones are the Nokia 5.4 and the Nokia 1.4.
Standout Features of the Nokia 5.4
It starts with the beautiful design that comes in two colors: Polar Night and Dusk. HMD Global really nailed the modern Nokia design here. Its 6.39-inch HD+ punch-hole display helps your YouTube watching experience be more immersive. Powering this is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, 4GB RAM, and 128GB storage. You also get a 4000 mAh battery that Nokia claims to last for two days. This is probably thanks to having Android One, a clean Android experience for third-party vendors.
Of course, cameras are important in a smartphone and the 5.4 has a 48MP rear quad-camera system and a 16MP front camera. The rear camera system consists of a 48MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. The 5.4 also boasts a Cinema Mode in its camera which lets you record video in 24 FPS and with a 21:9 aspect ratio.
Standout Features of the Nokia 1.4
Meanwhile, the Nokia 1.4 gives you a large 6.51-inch HD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor, 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage. This may all seem very entry-level (and reminiscent of the Nokia 1 I reviewed a while back). Good thing it uses the Android Go variant of Android 10. Based on my previous experience with Android Go, it runs pretty well with 2GB RAM.
Expect that even with the Camera Go app from Google which can run on the Nokia 1.4. That app also has Night Mode capabilities, so you can shoot low-light photos with the 8MP rear dual camera system. Like the 3.4 and 5.4, it also has a 4000 mAh battery to give you that two-day battery life.

Before Androids and all, I used to be a Nokia fanatic. Too bad, they got left behind with the innovation among its competitors. THey were the “GOD” in mobile world in the past. Goog thing they are back on track. I am considering of trying Nokia again this time.
“You also get a 4000 mAh battery that Nokia claims to last for two days.”
Wow. This is probably the battery capacity we need. I believe they are preparing for something huge soon.
Wooow! Id love to consider buying this one. I know for sure that this is durable since nokia is known with that trademark.
Those phone seem to have reasonable prices. The Nokia 5.4 and Nokia1.4 is nicely designed and I think the 2/32 GB configuration is quite enough for me . I look forward to more of your reviews.
Nokia is true to its brand — longevity is indeed the name of the game. If I ever buy a new smart phone, I would consider Nokia. It brings back wonderful memories. 🙂
Excited to see Nokias come back! Let us see what Nokia can bring to the consumers!

I am now ready to buy a new phone so maybe I’d consider Nokia. Woth its proven durability, I would never doubt it.
Wow! NOKIA has made innovative phones again that are value for money. Though, I would always rememeber my late Uncle saying that this brand is a disposable one, I think it has still made its cut in the market and has gathered its own following. And to note, my first ever mobile phone was a NOKIA 3315 when I was in High School! 🙂
Nice memories, and I would say, NOKIA still has got what it takes to make itself known in the battle of the Android.
