Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G & More Globally

Xiaomi seems UNSTOPPABLE at this point! The company can’t get enough of launching more phones at different price points and serving many customers. Two months after the launch of the Redmi Note 11 Series, we’re getting two new phones! Those are the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G and the Redmi Note 11S 5G! These phones add more 5G phone options to the whole lineup. On top of that, we’re also getting the Redmi 10 5G, the first Redmi series phone to get 5G support. This is great news for people who are on a tighter budget!

Meet the ULTIMATE Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G

I thought we wouldn’t see this smartphone released outside of China. All we had to do was wait a bit longer! The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G represents the best midrange phone that Xiaomi can offer.

It carries a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G processor, a 4500 mAh battery with 120W Xiaomi HyperCharge, a 108MP main camera, and dual speakers powered by JBL. The Note 11 Pro+ has the same design as the regular Note 11 Pro. Everyone seems to want those flat sides these days. That 120Hz AMOLED display also comes with a 360Hz touch sampling rate for smoother scrolling through MIUI and a better gaming experience.

You would think that all that tech would cost you a lot. Good thing that the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G starts at P19,999 for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. If you need more storage, there’s the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option for P21,999.

There will be early-bird promos for the Note 11 Pro+ from April 6 to 8 exclusively on Lazada and Shopee. You can get the 8GB+128GB model for P18,999 during the promo period! Meanwhile, the 8GB+256GB model will come with a FREE Mi Watch Lite worth P2,499. (Limited stocks apply.)

Redmi Note 11S 5G: The Performance Racer, Now with 5G!

I didn’t expect Xiaomi to release another 5G phone, let alone a 5G version of the Redmi Note 11S. Unlike its 4G sibling, the Redmi Note 11S 5G comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. This lets this phone have dual 5G support with its two SIMs. It also differs in the display and camera departments. It has a 6.6-inch FHD+ DotDisplay with a 90Hz refresh rate. (This has LCD instead of AMOLED on the 4G version.) It also has a 50MP main camera instead of the 108MP one we got on the regular Note 11S.

The Note 11S 5G comes in three models: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. No word on when this comes out in the Philippines yet. Stay tuned to the Xiaomi Philippines Facebook page for updates.

Redmi 10 5G: A 5G Phone in the Redmi Series!

Redmi series phones in recent years only had 4G LTE support. It was totally fine since Redmi phones were aimed at the entry level market. With 5G becoming more mainstream, it only makes sense for Xiaomi bring its most affordable phone into the fold. Say hello to the Redmi 10 5G!

Weird naming aside, it carries the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor which was previously seen in some midrange phones. The other aspects of this phone aren’t too shabby with a 6.58″ FHD+ Dot Drop display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main camera, and a 5000 mAh battery.

The Redmi 10 5G comes in three models: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. Like the Note 11S 5G, there’s no word yet on when this phone will arrive in the Philippines. Stay tuned to the Xiaomi Philippines Facebook page for updates.

What do you think of these phones? Do you feel that 5G phones are starting to truly be affordable? Sound off in the comments!
