What Powers You? is a new post series featuring people from different walks of life. It’s been months since I featured someone on my blog. This will be my alternate post series along with TechBytes. I want to feature more and more bloggers and more creative people here. On this one, I talk about Katrina Enrera!
Katrina is a person that I met sometime during my college days. We didn’t really know each other well. We kind of met again during blogging events and I’ve been following her stuff ever since! Her blog, KeiseeeintheCity, is a #BCBA2016 Personal Blogger Finalist! I did an interview on what powers her blogging and here’s what she has to say:
Q&A with Katrina:
WHAT’S YOUR BLOG ALL ABOUT?
My Blog ‘Keiseeeinthecity’ is a Cebu Fashion and Lifestyle blog. It started as a personal style blog where I share my daily outfits and write my thoughts about it. Now it grew into a lifestyle blog where I share my love of fashion, food, travel and everything else in between.
HOW DOES YOUR BLOG REPRESENT YOU?
I consider my blog as an online diary so it basically represents who I am on a personal level – from the outfits I wore, to the places I visited, and the food that I eat.
WHERE DO YOU USUALLY GET YOUR IDEAS FOR YOUR BLOG?
I get ideas and inspirations from the fellow bloggers and vloggers I follow online but mostly its from my personal experiences and from my daily outfits.
WHAT GADGETS POWER YOU IN BLOGGING AND IN EVERYDAY LIFE?
HP Pavilion Laptop, FujiFilm X20, Iphone 5s, Asus Powerbank.
HOW HAS TECHNOLOGY CHANGED YOUR LIFE?
I believe it did not only changed my life but also to everyone in this world. Everything has been simpler, faster and convenient with the latest technology these days.
FAVORITE YOUTUBERS?
Weylie from ilikeweylie and WahlieTV, Lauren from LaurDIY, Jenn Im from Clothes Encounters, Sophia Chang and Claire Marshall are among my fave YouTubers.
#TEAMIPHONE OR #TEAMANDROID? WHY ARE YOU ON SAID TEAM?
Both. I was Team Android all my life until I had my first iPhone last year. Having used both phones has their own advantages and disadvantages.
And, that was it for my interview with Katrina! She was kind of busy when I asked her these so I appreciate her effort of answering these.
Please please please check her out on her blog and on social media!

Will check out her blog! I’d love to try FujiFilm cam someday. This also reminds me to buy another powerbank, tsk tsk. And yes Asus, it is. I’ll make sure it has a label so that the airport security won’t confiscate it anymore daaarn it. Hahaha.
Ehem. I would like to be in this series please. I badly need page views. hahaha.
Joking aside, I agree with Kat that a blog should be a reflection of the author because web logs were created for that very reason years when it was first conceived and even now.
Actually kinda know her as we once had dinner with her and several other bloggers from CFB sometime ago. All of them were pretty cool people and were a blast to hangout with! 😀
Wow.. FUJI.. I know some people switching to Fuji..
Oh Fuji, my dream Fuji. If I ever decide to be serious with travel photography, I would really love to have this camera. *crossing mah fingers
Will visit her blog too. 🙂
Wow, I like this idea of yours Jullian. Anyway, Katrina loves HP and I’m also using HP. I’ll surely check her blog. She must be awesome.
Personal blogs are very common when people starts to blog. It started like as an online diary until we found our own voices and goes to separate niches. I love how Kat went both to Android and iPhone since both has its pros and cons. Great!
I agree with her, technology changed everyone in this world. Without technology, we wouldn’t be able to read as much information as we get each day. Good job, tech blogger of the year!
Team Iphone all the way! 🙂 Good job ion the nomination. I hope to see more of these Jullian and sana famous people like Michelle Obama.
I like the way she answered the questions. And I must agree that the blog should represent the author/owner. And yes, technology changed everyone.
I will check her site, she seems witty… her blog must be interesting.
