Remember the iPhone SE? That iPhone carried a beloved design with the latest processor that the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus had! We’re now in 2020 and Apple just made the same move. Enter the new iPhone SE!
Same Formula, Different Ingredients
For the new SE, Apple went with the iPhone 8 design. That means you get the same 4.7-inch display and the same forehead and chin design as that iPhone 8. You also get the same cameras as that phone (12MP rear camera, 7MP front camera).
The main change with this new SE is the A13 Bionic chip. That doesn’t seem much on paper, but that chip is the same as the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro! This means that you’re sure to get up to 5 years of iOS software updates. The best part? We still get the $399 price!
Color Options: Just Add Red
The new SE comes in three colors: Black, White, and Red. As you know, the proceeds of PRODUCT(RED) models of Apple products go to support HIV/AIDS research. With the SE, a portion of its proceeds goes to COVID-19 research and relief. It kind of makes sense to get the red one for the cause, but getting the other colors are fine.
Pricing and Availability of the New iPhone SE
The new SE starts at $399 for a 64GB model. Here’s the pricing table for a better look:
