Standout Features of the ASUS ROG Phone 5

With the ROG Phone 5, ASUS is bringing its A++ game in terms of the combination of features and specs! It carries the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor which features 5G connectivity and Snapdragon Elite Gaming features. This phone keeps all the gaming-specific features like the Armoury Crate performance manager, the AirTrigger 5 control system, and the GameCool 5 cooling system.

We still get an amazing 144 Hz AMOLED display with a 1ms response time, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ support. There is also a HUGE 6000 mAh battery in this, but you can now charge that faster thanks to the 65W HyperCharge adapter.

  1. Hi, Jullian, your tech blog intimidates me to be honest. I feel inadequate trying to comment on something I hardly know anything about. However, I did a little research on Asus ROG. It has the most powerful processor to date, a great display with a monstrous refresh rate, and the frills that somewhere define it as a good gaming phone.

Wohooo! Can’t wait for this. For sure gamers out there would def buy this one ?

  3. GJ Perino GJ Perino

    Wow! Can’t believe that it has 128GB / 256GB (ROG Phone 5), 512GB (5 Pro and 5 Ultimate) UFS 3.1 storage
Triple rear camera: 64MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 13MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture, 5MP macro camera
surely this something worth to buy!

  4. Hi Jullian! I’d like to ask what kind of smartphone would you prefer IOS or Android? and what are the pros and cons?

  5. Why do phones need to be all arounders?

Can’t ASUS just make a phone for gaming purely like best chip and screen refresh but no cameras. I don’t think gamers will use their gaming phones for selfies hahahaha

    • The gaming phone is still a phone though, so even sharing your game face on social media could be possible if you have the selfie camera. Hehe

Reminds me of the ROG laptops without webcams. Hahaha

  6. Asus ROG phone 5 has great benchmark scores, which is enough reason to buy. Good processor and offers higher framerates. ROG phones are the best gaming phones.

  7. everytime i see new phones in u blog i realize how old my phone is hahaha, still not replacing it yet though but a gaming phone would be nice

  8. Gaming laptops and now we have phones that are specifically built for gaming. I remember back then I was already happy with the flappy bird game hahahah. Now the games seem more analytical and having better specs would surely up their game.
