realme 8 Series Now in the Philippines!

realme finally launched the realme 8 Series in the Philippines! With photography being the focus of the Number series, the realme 8 Pro brings that to the next level.

The realme 8 Pro and its 108MP Camera!

The realme 8 Pro brings a 108MP camera for the first time in a realme smartphone. Using Samsung’s ISOCELL HM2 sensor with realme’s software optimizations, this phone can take better photos in various situations. You can even take better zoom photos thanks to the 8 Pro’s in-sensor zoom technology for up to 3x optical zoom.

You can also take advantage of improved features you’ve come to know and love from realme including a New Super Nightscape Mode and Starry Mode. There are even new features like the Tilt-Shift mode for photos and time-lapse videos and Dynamic Bokeh for portrait shots.

Its Infinite Bold Design is nice to look at and comes in two colors: Infinite Blue and Infinite Black. (I wish we get that Illuminating Yellow color someday…) Say what you want about that “Dare To Leap” text on the back of the phone, but it’s quite a bold statement to show that.

All this is powered by a Snapdragon 720G processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. You can see all those nice photos you’ll take with the 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with 1000 nits of peak brightness. It also has a 4500 mAh battery with 50W SuperDart Charge that gets the 8 Pro from 0 to 50% in 17 minutes.

The realme 8 is No Slouch!

This phone may not get that fancy 108MP camera, but the realme 8 still has a lot to offer! It all starts with the same 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display as the 8 Pro. Last year, only the 7 Pro got an AMOLED display so it’s nice to see it here with the standard realme 8. This phone also keeps that nice 64MP AI Quad Camera system from last year’s realme 7. (My experience with those cameras was really great.)

With its MediaTek Helio G95 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, the realme 8 is also a great midrange option for intense gaming sessions. Its Infinite Bold Design shares some design cues with the 8 Pro while having a more “cyberpunk” feel to it. The realme 8 comes in two colors: Cyber Black and Cyber Silver.

Both phones in the realme 8 Series come with realme UI 2.0 out of the box! This means you can enjoy the various improvements in customization, performance, and privacy & security on these new phones.

  1. I am considering buying this. Do you think Dito sim will work in this Ji?

  2. I’ve read sonewhere that the latest Realme smartphone isn’t a major update over the Realme 7. But then we are getting a vibrant AMOLED panel and good performance at an accessible price.

  3. 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display as the 8 Pro
Wow. The screen is perfect for streaming videos. For sure the quality of the screen in crystal clear.

  4. It seems that realme8 is trying to dominate the market with its new releases. They are becoming the talk of the town and creating such a buzz.

  5. Jn Kaye Jn Kaye

Will surely get one soon. I love the specs and its overall performace

  6. I might be buying a new unit for myself and I am considering any RealMe phones. I miss my lost RealMe unit and for some reasons I miss some of its features, too. This RealMe 8 looks lit! A bit pricey but looks like it is worth its price.

  7. Indeed, Realme is on a roll and they have been coming out with so many phones that are so high when it comes to value for money. Nothing really surprising with the 8 except that there’s a 9 in a few months time . 🙂

Enjoy it for a year or at most 2.
