eLocker PH Media Launch!

Jullian Robin Sibi 0

For a relatively simple task, it can be pretty daunting especially when it piles up. Laundry has always been a hassle especially to young entrepreneurs who are just starting out. It’s even worse when you have to go to a laundry shop and drop it off. There is always that time when you tend to lose your receipt or even lose some clothes when you claim them. Do you need help when it comes to laundry? Is there a better way to have your laundry done?

These guys sure do have a way! They call their service eLocker! It is an easy-to-use 24/7 laundry service that is accessible online! They launched their service last month in JSU-PSU Mariner’s Court. Fiona Mae Villamor, their communications head, did a run through what their service is.

Want to know how their service works? Here it is:

Just wait for their text containing the locker number and PIN and you can get your laundry!

The service itself is that simple! There are also other details you need to know. eLocker tracks each item from your laundry through adding an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tag. They also take pictures of the laundry so you know each and every item that you sent for laundry services. You can bring in a minimum of 2kg and a maximum of 15kg worth of clothes and there are bigger lockers that can accommodate the big amount. There are 4 pick-up times: 6AM, 12NN, 6PM, and 12AM.

eLocker is currently setting their sights on 20 locker sets in Cebu City for 2016. Since they aim for accessibility, they plan to setup some of those lockers in condominium buildings, gasoline stations, and other commercial establishments.

For me, this is a great way to save time and money for going to a laundry shop by yourself and carrying a big laundry bag. I hope this will gain a lot of awareness to the public so that people would have an easier time with their laundry.

Congrats to the team at eLocker PH for their successful launch! 🙂
